From Cornwall to East Anglia - walking together as a mindful community
In early May 2008, a group of pilgrims watched the Beltane sunrise from a clifftop headland near Lands End and then set out on a journey … on foot … across southern England.
Following the path of the Michael/Mary leyline, they walked the sacred and mythological landscape that is Albion.
Nearly fifty days (and over 500 miles) later, they reached the Norfolk coast in time to witness the Summer Solstice sunrise over the North Sea.
A celebration of the land’s beauty as well as a witnessing of its wounding, the Walk was also a powerful experience of community for all involved. This book tells the story of that journey in photographs, drawings, poems and diary entries. |
